Zolaikha Strong is an Energy Executive with a proven track record creating and directing strategic initiatives that align federal & state policy, regulation and legislation to grow energy markets across electrical sectors that impact generation, transmission and distribution systems, such as the integration of renewable energy, energy storage, electric vehicles and grid modernization. Zolaikha is the Director of Energy Policy & Electrical Markets leading the North American Clean Energy Transition for the global Copper Alliance. Previously, she was the Manager of Federal Regulatory Affairs for Edison Electric Institute, an Energy Industry Analyst for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and held numerous positions in global finance for Kraft Foods.  She has Master’s from Columbia University and Bachelor’s from Seton Hall University.
