Xinjing Zhang, PhD
Xinjing Zhang, PhD, Professor, Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhang worked as a visiting Professor at University of Virginia (USA, Nov. 2018 –Nov. 2019), and a visiting PhD students and research associate at Leeds University (UK, Dec. 2008 –Apr. 2011). He was elected as member of the Beijing Nova Program (Research Talent Program of Beijing). His research interest is analysis and experimental study of Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES), hybrid energy storage, distributed generation, gas turbine, energy storage integrated with renewable sources. He has been Principle Investigator (PI) and Co-I of multiple National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, National key R&D Research Program project, InternationalS&T Cooperation Project, and China-UK Collaboration Projects. He is the author/co-author of more than 50 academic papers published on peer reviewed International Journals and conferences. Dr. Zhang has filed 27 patents. He is also a co-author of chapters of two English books and one chapter of a Chinese book. He has organized/co-organized 5 international conferences, and participated in more than 10 international conferences.
