Victoria Carey is a Senior Consultant and Project Manager at DNV GL. She has eight years of experience working in the energy industry, focused for more than four years on energy storage technical due diligence and risk analysis. She provides technical review of various energy storage products and projects, assessing systems’ design, performance, safety, contracts, and supporting processes. Further, Ms. Carey is deeply involved in energy storage safety, inclusive of fire and explosion modeling support, commissioning and testing protocol development, and providing consultation relating to best practices. She notably has been the technical lead with NYC agencies developing permitting guidelines for energy storage under a NYSERDA initiative. She earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rutgers University.
