Nitzan Goldberger is director of policy and business development at Borrego Solar, where she leads Borrego’s policy and business strategy in the Mid-Atlantic region. Nitzan has twelve years of experience leading energy policy, market analysis, and business strategy for energy companies. Prior to Borrego, Nitzan served as senior director for state policy at the Energy Storage Association, where she drove and designed storage policy through regulatory and legislative advocacy at the state level across the US. She worked on renewable energy policy for Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E), where she developed. renewable energy policy strategy on renewable portfolio standard implementation, compliance, and legislation impacting PG&E’s renewable energy procurement. At Eurasia Group she advised corporate, financial, and government clients on U.S. federal and state-level natural gas, oil, and electric sector policies. Nitzan earned her M.S. in foreign service from Georgetown University and her B.A. in political science from the University of California at Berkeley.
