Mike is the Chief Technology Officer for the GE Renewable Hybrids business where he is responsible for the overall technical strategy as well as leading the business’s engineering organization. This organization is accountable for technology and product development along with application and requisition engineering. Additionally, Mike works with the other Renewable Energy business technology teams to build a holistic and aligned approach to our technology platform.Prior to the current role, Mike was the Sustainable Energy Advanced Technology leader at GE’s Research Center. Mike has been with GE for over 23 years with time spent in both GE Research Center and GE Energy developing products and technology. Over his career he has focused on energy conversion systems, performance technologies, product ideation and development, as well as leading efforts in understanding climate change and CO2 science. Mike holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Union College.
